Texture Mapping

This page, provided by Hilary Rhodes, shows the effects of two 1d sine noises mapped over spheres, using the "mappings" button in the main texture dialogue box. The noises, shown below are the same as used in the component interactions example with the two components added together.

This clearly shows the variety of effects generated by using the various mapping parameters. All textures were scaled to one, except the 10th sphere, which was at 0.1, to indicate the difference size makes.
