Call
for Interest: Graduate Student Conference in Astrobiology: Graduate students Maggie Turnbull (University of Arizona) and John Armstrong (University of Washington) have proposed that the NAI sponsor a graduate student conference in astrobiology. If enough interest is expressed by the graduate student community, NAI will provide funding for the conference, to be held at the University of Arizona in Tucson in January of 2004. The conference would be open to all graduate students who are pursuing a research career in astrobiology.
