The stool is pretty simple: primitives, to which metallic optical properties similar to those used for the microphone were applied, and 2 PICTs for the seat. Here's the stool by itself:

The side of the seat was made with a PICT used as an opacity map and given shiny metallic properties.

The red upholstered part of the seat used the following PICT-the grayscale was an opacity map brought in with the red RGB square.
