One of my favorite images, possibly because I've played blues guitar for years, is Blues Club by Jackson Ting and Robert Bailey of ArtEffect Design Studio. All of their images are wonderful, not only for their composition, but also for their execution and attention to detail. Much can be learned by studying all of their Bryce images. At first glance it looks simple: just map some picts onto planes and render. Hah, nothing could be farther from the truth! This is an incredibly detailed image in which every piece was individually conceived and crafted. In order to understand how this image was created we've broken it up into sections: the guitar, the microphone, the stool, etc.
